We are seeking an experienced Freelance Recruiter/HR Project Freelancer to support the successful launch of our first flex property in Milan, Italy, The Osimo. This role will be instrumental in overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process and ensuring all legal compliance with Italian labor laws. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Italian Labour and Social Security Law and will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Hotel Manager during this initial phase.

Your Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process for 4 key roles: -3 Guest Experience Managers -1 Door Attendant
- Source, screen, and shortlist suitable candidates using various recruitment channels.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate interviews with the General Manager and Hotel Manager.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Compliance with Italian Labor Law:
- Provide expertise on Italian Labour and Social Security Law to set up compliant employment contracts.
- Advise on legal requirements, including minimum wage standards, shift work regulations, supplements, and time-off policies.
- Support in establishing work contracts in alignment with Italy’s labor laws and industry standards.

Collaboration with Management:
- Work closely with the General Manager and Hotel Manager in defining hiring criteria and job role specifications.
- Act as an HR advisor to ensure the smooth onboarding of new employees and compliance with labor regulations.

HR Documentation and Setup:
- Develop standardized templates for employment contracts, including terms around shift work, benefits, and other legally required provisions.
- Ensure all relevant documentation and records are in line with local legislation.

Handover to Internal HR Team:
- Prepare a detailed handover at the end of the project to the existing HR team.
- Transfer knowledge of the employment processes, compliance issues, and ongoing HR requirements for the flex property.
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment and HR functions, particularly within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Italian Labour and Social Security Law.
- Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially in start-up or new project environments.
- Availability to dedicate a maximum of 20 hours per week to this project.
